MEET DR. SERENA TA
Dr. Serena Ta graduated from the University of Southern California’s (USC) Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, after completing her undergraduate studies with magna cum laude honors at the University of California San Diego. During dental school, Dr. Ta traveled to third world countries as a volunteer, providing dental care to those who need it most.
Dr. Ta is recognized by “Women In Medicine” as a Top Dentist. She is also a member of the American Dental Society, Orange County Dental Society, and California Dental Association.
Dr. Ta is the sixth born of eight children in her family and she enjoys family gatherings because they are filled with children and laughter. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new places to eat, traveling, meeting new people and always seeking out new adventures. Dr. Ta enjoys snowboarding, hiking, cooking and more.
MEET DR. PAULA PHU
Dr. Paula Phu was born and raised in the beautiful city of Lakewood, Colorado. Dr. Phu’s journey in healthcare began with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, she earned her Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Rutgers University and went on to achieve her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Phu brings her skills and compassionate approach to dentistry, ensuring each patient receives the highest level of care. Dr. Phu’s dedication to dentistry goes beyond technical expertise. She deeply values the individual needs and concerns of her patients, striving to create a warm and supportive environment. She is passionate about giving back to the community, and was selected in dental school to provide dental services to the underserved communities in other countries.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Phu enjoys an active lifestyle during her free time. Whether it’s playing tennis, golfing, hiking in the great outdoors, or exploring new cultures and cuisines while traveling the world, Dr. Phu embraces every opportunity to expand her horizons. She cherishes moments spent with loved ones and finds joy in picking up new hobbies to enrich her life.
MEET OUR HYGIENIST – AMY FARROW, R.D.H.
Amy has been in the dental field for over 27 years, she always knew she wanted to be in dentistry. She has been a special part of this practice for 20 years. She graduated from Dental Hygiene School at the top of her class in 2015, receiving awards from the Orange County Dental Society for Academic Achievement, and Cypress Dental Hygiene Program for Excellence in Leadership. She was raised in Fountain Valley, and is still living there with her family. When she is not working, she is focusing on being both a dedicated wife and mother to her two daughters. Amy is passionate about dental health and strives to give her patients the best treatment possible. Some of her hobbies include staying active by swimming, biking, and running, but she also loves to cook.
